Inter Miami, led by Lionel Messi, has secured the services of Dayne St. Clair, a prominent Canadian goalkeeper recently named the 2025 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year. St. Clair brings a wealth of experience from his time with Minnesota United, where he amassed 42 clean sheets over 159 appearances.
At 28 years old and a free agent, St. Clair signed a contract through 2026, with an option for an extension. He also has aspirations to be Canada's starting goalkeeper for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
This acquisition is part of Inter Miami's strategy to reinforce its roster as the team aims to defend its first-ever MLS Cup title. Recent signings include defender Facundo Mura and left-back Sergio Reguilón, alongside contract renewals for Luis Suárez and Rodrigo De Paul.
