Summary

- The MLS team may pay the player's $15 million release clause.
- Berterame previously played for Argentina's youth national team.

Inter Miami CF has emerged as a potential suitor for Rayados de Monterrey forward Germán Berterame, according to sources. The Major League Soccer club is reportedly willing to meet the player's release clause, which Mexican outlets have pegged at $15 million, to secure the transfer.
Berterame has been a productive player for Rayados since joining in 2022, tallying 67 goals and 15 assists in 152 appearances across all competitions. His performance in Liga MX led to his inclusion in the Mexican national team after completing the naturalization process, despite having previously represented Argentina's youth squads.
This is not the first time Berterame has attracted MLS interest, with FC Cincinnati having previously attempted to sign him. However, a deal could not be reached. The current transfer negotiations between Inter Miami and Rayados are ongoing and have not yet been finalized.
