Indiana University has achieved a landmark recruiting success with the commitment of five-star wide receiver Monshun Sales. Sales, ranked as the nation's eighth-best prospect and second-best wide receiver, announced his decision live on "The Pat McAfee Show," choosing Indiana over elite programs including Texas, Ohio State, LSU, and Alabama. This commitment is set to make him the first five-star player in Indiana's history to sign directly from high school.

Head coach Curt Cignetti's arrival and Indiana's early engagement with Sales, offering him in April 2024, proved crucial. Sales cited Cignetti's direct communication style as a key factor in his decision. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound receiver finished his junior season with impressive stats, including 37 catches for 794 yards and nine touchdowns.
