Indian Cricket Stars Arrive in Perth for Crucial ODI Series Against Australia

Apart from Kohli, Rohit, and Gill, the other players who landed in Perth after a delayed flight were KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, and Nitish Kumar Reddy, along with some members of the support staff. Head coach Gautam Gambhir and the rest of the coaching staff are expected to join the squad later in the day, as they had boarded an evening flight from Delhi on the previous day.
The ODI series will be followed by a five-match T20 International series starting on October 29. The one-dayers have generated a significant buzz, as it will be Kohli and Rohit's first international outing since India's Champions Trophy triumph in March earlier this year. The future of these two stalwarts has become a subject of intense speculation, especially after Gill's elevation to the ODI captaincy.
Both Kohli and Rohit have already retired from Tests and T20 Internationals, but they are believed to be keen on continuing at least until the 2027 ODI World Cup.
