The Indian women's cricket team is preparing for an extensive tour of South Africa in late 2026. This encounter marks a significant fixture in the bilateral history between the two nations.
Before the Test, a three-match One Day International series will be contested from December 9 to 15. These ODIs are crucial as they form part of the ICC Women's Championship. The matches will be hosted across Potchefstroom, Bloemfontein, and Cape Town.
The tour will also feature a warm-up game against South Africa Emerging in Benoni on December 6. Furthermore, a separate five-match T20I series between India and South Africa is slated for April 17 to 27, 2026, across Durban, Johannesburg, and Benoni. This series is intended as preparation for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup in England.
