India will aim to halt a three-match losing streak as they prepare to face Tajikistan in their second international friendly of the June FIFA window. The match is scheduled for Tuesday, June 9, at the Hisor Central Stadium in Hisor, Tajikistan.
Khalid Jamil's squad is coming off a recent 1-3 loss against the same Tajik opponent. In that earlier friendly, Farukh Choudhary's late free-kick served only as a consolation goal for the Blue Tigers, who were hampered by defensive errors and missed scoring chances.
Prior to these encounters, India also suffered defeats against Jamaica and Zimbabwe in the Unity Cup held in London. This upcoming friendly represents India's final opportunity in this FIFA window to achieve a much-needed positive result and demonstrate resilience.
