India's quest to defend its continental hockey title and secure another strong performance at the 2026 Asian Games is set to begin with the announcement of the 20-member Indian Men's Hockey Team. This squad has been selected for the prestigious event scheduled to take place in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
Leading the charge will be star defender and drag-flicker Harmanpreet Singh, who continues his captaincy. Complementing his leadership, India's most-capped player, veteran midfielder Manpreet Singh, will provide crucial experience.
