Morillo arrives at Illinois after a standout junior season at The Newman School in Boston. He was named Player of the Year by the New England Basketball Journal, averaging 15.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.1 assists. He also competed internationally, representing the Dominican Republic in the FIBA U19 World Cup.
