IHSAA Girls Soccer: Sectional Brackets Revealed

The Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) girls soccer postseason is set to begin, with all teams discovering their first-round sectional opponents on September 27th. Sectional tournaments are scheduled to commence on Monday, October 5th, concluding on Saturday, October 10th. This phase will be followed by regional semifinals on Wednesday, October 14th, and regional championships on Saturday, October 17th.
The path to the state championship continues with semi-states on Saturday, October 24th. The ultimate showdown for the IHSAA boys and girls soccer state finals will take place at Michael Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium on the campus of IU Indianapolis, spanning Friday and Saturday, October 30th-31st.
Notably, two East Central Indiana teams are defending sectional champions: Delta in Class 2A and Muncie Burris in Class 1A. The Delta Eagles, who secured their first sectional title since 2002 last year, advanced to the Class 2A state final four. Muncie Burris Owls are aiming for their sixth consecutive sectional win.
