In Class 2A action, Seton-La Salle staged an impressive comeback against Steel Valley. Trailing by 14 points, the Rebels, inspired by an interception and multiple key plays from Will Martin, rallied to win 21-14. Martin was instrumental, scoring three touchdowns, including the game-winner with just 30 seconds remaining.
The day saw four high school football champions crowned. While Clairton and Seton-La Salle celebrated victories, Avonworth faced Imani Christian in Class 3A, and Pine-Richland met Peters Township in Class 5A, with results for these remaining games to follow.
