Herbert Leads LIV Golf UK by Four Strokes
25 Jul
Summary
- Herbert holds a four-stroke lead at LIV Golf United Kingdom.
- He shot a 6-under-par second round to reach 17-under total.
- Bryson DeChambeau is in second place, trailing by four strokes.

Lucas Herbert continued his impressive play at LIV Golf United Kingdom, extending his lead to four strokes after the second round on Friday. He shot a 6-under-par 66, tying for the best round of the day, to reach a 17-under total of 127 at the halfway point.
This performance follows his course-record 11-under 61 on Thursday. Herbert, who secured his first LIV win in May and had his best major finish last week, is seeking his second title of the season.
He is playing alongside Bryson DeChambeau, who is in second place at 13 under. Herbert noted that playing with DeChambeau sharpens his own game.
DeChambeau, despite a strong start, struggled on the back nine, making too many mistakes. He sits four shots behind Herbert with 36 holes remaining.
In the team standings, Herbert's Ripper GC leads by nine strokes over DeChambeau's Crushers GC. Tyrrell Hatton is in third place, with Byeong Hun An and Harold Varner III tied for fourth.
