During the third T20I match between England and India on Tuesday, July 7, bowler Harshit Rana showcased his wicket-taking ability by securing two dismissals within a single over. After England opted to bat first, Rana delivered the 12th over and, following a boundary, removed Jacob Bethell for 13 runs on the fifth ball. He continued his impressive spell by taking the wicket of Tom Banton on the very next delivery, who departed for a duck.

Rana's spell concluded with figures of 2 wickets for 40 runs across his four overs. Notably, he was not included in the 15-member squad announced for India's subsequent three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, scheduled to take place in Harare from July 23 to July 26. The selection committee has opted for a new bowling lineup for the Zimbabwe tour.
