Atletico Star Linked with Shock MLS Move

Antoine Griezmann continues to be instrumental for Atletico Madrid's Copa del Rey campaign. He has acted as the tactical fulcrum for the team during intense matches, including their recent second-leg clash. Despite his significant contributions, Griezmann's long-term future at the club is uncertain. Reports suggest that North American club Orlando City is actively pursuing a move for the French international.

This potential transfer gains prominence as Griezmann aims to secure major silverware with Atletico Madrid, having not won a significant trophy since 2018. The lure of Major League Soccer is reportedly a factor that could end his second spell in Madrid. While Orlando City hopes to sign him within their primary transfer window, which closes on March 26, it is unlikely he would depart before the summer. Formal discussions between Atletico Madrid and Orlando City have not yet occurred.
