During the week, Mueller scored multiple goals for the Class 2A No. 11 Gilbert soccer team. She netted two goals in a 5-0 win against rival Nevada and added two more goals and an assist in a 4-0 victory over Mason City.
Carson Squiers secured the male Athlete of the Week title with 52% of the vote. He played a crucial role in the Gilbert track and field team's success at the Bengal Relays on April 29.
Squiers was part of the winning 4x400 relay team, which finished in 3:33.38, and anchored the victorious 4x800 relay team with a time of 8:04.20.
