Giants' Likely: Chemistry with Winston Fuels Success

New York Giants tight end Isaiah Likely has quickly established himself as a key offensive weapon. Through five games this 2026 season, the veteran has recorded 33 receptions for 284 yards and four touchdowns, leading the team's tight ends. He recently set a franchise record with his high reception total.

Likely's success is bolstered by a developing connection with quarterback Jameis Winston. Despite an initial adjustment period following the loss of a previous starter, the duo has found a rhythm. This synergy is particularly evident in short-yardage situations, providing a reliable target for Winston.

As the Giants prepare for their Week 6 matchup, Likely aims to build on his impressive start. He expressed confidence in the offense's progress, stating it is on the "right trajectory." Both Likely and Winston are focused on continuing to improve and silencing doubters.
