Summary
- Giants' starting quarterback Jaxson Dart is out for the season due to a knee injury.
- Jameis Winston will assume starting quarterback duties for the team.
- The team will sign another quarterback to the roster as depth.
The New York Giants will be without their starting quarterback, Jaxson Dart, for the remainder of the season. Dart suffered a knee injury during Monday night's loss to the Rams, forcing him out of action.
Head Coach John Harbaugh announced that Jameis Winston will take over as the starting quarterback for Sunday's matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Harbaugh stated that Winston is familiar with the offense and has been actively engaged in practices, making his transition seamless. The team's game plan will be adapted to suit Winston's skill set.
With Dart and Winston being the only quarterbacks on the 53-man roster, the Giants intend to bring another quarterback onto the team. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at MetLife Stadium.
