Giants Prospect Level Shines Brightly in Minors

In the 2026 season, Level played 89 games for Single-A San Jose, hitting .269 with 12 home runs, 50 RBI, and 21 stolen bases. His slick-fielding, switch-hitting abilities have impressed, and he is expected to make significant strides. He returned to San Jose to start the 2026 season, with a potential call-up to Triple-A within reach if his development continues.

Giants senior director of player development Kyle Haines commended Level's performance, noting his competitiveness and dynamic play. Haines emphasized Level's status as one of Minor League Baseball's best players. Level himself expressed optimism about his career and dedication to the game, recalling his early baseball aspirations from Venezuela.

Level joined a baseball academy in Venezuela at age 12, which solidified his belief in his talent and future in baseball. He described his signing day as a special experience, surrounded by his entire family, fulfilling a childhood dream of professional baseball.
