Georgia Standout Deuce Geralds Commits to Stacked LSU D-Line
2 Aug
Summary
- LSU lands 2026 No. 2 defensive tackle Deuce Geralds
- Geralds is ESPN's No. 5 recruit in Georgia for 2026
- Joins elite LSU defensive line class with 3 top-10 DTs

On Saturday, LSU landed a major recruiting victory by securing a commitment from Deuce Geralds, the No. 2 defensive tackle prospect in the 2026 class. Geralds, who plays at Collins Hill High School in Suwannee, Georgia, is ranked as the No. 5 recruit in the state for 2026 by ESPN.
Geralds chose LSU over finalists Oregon, Michigan, Ole Miss, and Ohio State, following official visits with each program this past spring. The 2026 defensive tackle is the son of former Ole Miss offensive lineman Daverin Geralds and spent part of his childhood in Baton Rouge before relocating to Georgia.
Geralds' pledge adds to an increasingly deep and talented defensive line class for the Tigers. LSU secured a major commitment last month when five-star defensive tackle and No. 1 overall prospect Lamar Brown (Baton Rouge, Louisiana) committed to the program. The Tigers also hold a commitment from No. 7 defensive tackle Richard Anderson, a former youth football teammate of Geralds' from New Orleans.
With the addition of Geralds, LSU now has commitments from three of the top 10 defensive tackle prospects in the 2026 class, more than any other program nationally. The Tigers are also set to add four-star defensive end Trenton Henderson and edge rushers Darryus McKinley and DeAnthony Lafayette in 2026.
