According to the latest rankings as of August 17, 2025, two Florida Gators players have been identified as among the top 100 freakiest college football players in the nation. Freshman edge rusher Jayden Woods has been ranked 40th on the list, while starting running back Jadan Baugh comes in at 53rd.
Woods, a four-star recruit from Kansas, has impressed coaches with his explosiveness, intelligence, and strong work ethic since joining the Gators last winter. The 6-foot-3, 244-pound defender has added 15 pounds and showcased his athletic abilities, including a 10-foot-5 broad jump and 33.5-inch vertical leap. Woods has also demonstrated his strength, squatting 555 pounds and power cleaning 365 pounds.
Meanwhile, Baugh, a 6-foot-1, 233-pound power back from Atlanta, has continued to build on his breakout second half of the 2024 season. During the offseason, Baugh challenged and broke several program lifting records, both pound-for-pound and overall. He squatted 565 pounds, did a close-grip bench press of 350 pounds, and cleaned 335 pounds, showcasing his impressive physical abilities.

The Gators' strength and conditioning coach, Tyler Miles, has praised the team's work ethic, with 65% of the players gaining muscle and losing fat this offseason. The team as a whole has gained 700 pounds of muscle, a significant improvement over the previous year.
