Garza Steps Up With Double-Double, Three Blocks
9 Oct
Summary
- Garza recorded a double-double and three blocks against top centers.
- His performance came as other Celtics key players rested.
- Garza could be a streaming option despite limited fantasy upside.
In a recent game, forward Garza demonstrated resilience and contribution despite a challenging matchup against Cavaliers' centers Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. Garza managed to achieve a double-double and record three blocks, a notable performance given the defensive pressure.
This significant playing time and offensive load for Garza occurred during a game where many of the Celtics' primary expected players were given the night off. His performance highlights his potential to step into a larger role when needed.
While Garza's draft position might not present substantial upside for most fantasy basketball leagues, especially with Neemias Queta and Mitchell Robinson slated for rotation spots, he could emerge as a temporary fantasy asset. His potential as a streaming option on select nights is heightened by the injury history of other centers on the team.
