17 Dec
Summary
- Gradey Harding commits to University of Buffalo wrestling.
- Buffalo was Harding's top choice from his first visit.
- Harding aims to emulate Dustin Fox's national championship success.

Galion High School's Gradey Harding has officially committed to wrestle for the University of Buffalo Bulls, fulfilling a long-held aspiration. Harding discovered his preference for Buffalo early on, stating that other collegiate offers, including those from Ohio University, Kent State, Michigan State, and Wisconsin, did not feel as welcoming.
The commitment marks a significant achievement for the Galion wrestling program, with Harding being the second Division I recruit in two decades. His coach, Noah Blankenship, expressed confidence in Harding's potential, drawing parallels to Dustin Fox, a previous Galion standout who went on to win a national championship at Northwestern University.
Harding, a two-time state runner-up, aims for a state title this year and collegiate success, including All-American honors. He plans to study criminology and pursue a career in law enforcement after his wrestling career, now able to focus entirely on his sport with a full-ride scholarship.
