The Golden State Warriors have appointed Frank Vogel, a former NBA champion coach, as their new associate head coach for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Vogel, 53, will join head coach Steve Kerr's staff.
Vogel brings a wealth of experience to the Warriors. He guided the Los Angeles Lakers to their 17th NBA championship in the 2019-20 season, defeating the Miami Heat. Prior to his championship run, Vogel served as the head coach for the Indiana Pacers, leading them to the Eastern Conference Finals twice.
His coaching journey also includes head coaching positions with the Orlando Magic and the Phoenix Suns, as well as assistant coaching roles with the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers. Vogel's extensive NBA background is expected to be a significant asset to the Warriors.
