Hennessy Aims for Undisputed Title

British bantamweight Francesca Hennessy will defend her WBC Silver Bantamweight title on May 30th. Her fight against Italian challenger Aurora de Persio is part of a Boxxer event at Wembley Arena in London. This bout is a crucial step for the 21-year-old Hennessy, as she seeks to position herself for a future match against the undisputed bantamweight champion.

Hennessy, who maintains a perfect record of eight wins from eight fights, expressed her ambition to challenge herself against strong opponents to prepare for world title contention. She has her sights set on becoming the youngest undisputed champion in boxing history, a record currently held by Gabriela Fundora. Hennessy's fight will be broadcast live on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
