Florida pitchers dominate Team USA training

Three pitchers from Florida demonstrated their skills while training with the Team USA College National Team. Aidan King, the SEC Pitcher of the Year, started for the Stars, allowing few baserunners and striking out batters with his fastball and slider.
Relief pitchers Brandon Barber and Cameron Whritenour also made notable appearances. Barber retired the side in order, hitting 99 mph with his fastball, while Whritenour closed out a win, also throwing in the high 90s with a powerful slider.
Meanwhile, Florida's baseball program has experienced considerable transfer portal activity. Seven pitchers and several position players have entered the portal. However, the Gators have also secured new commitments, including catcher Jon Embury and pitcher Maddox McDougall, and notable transfers like Trey Morris and Zach Edwards.
