Florida Basketball Returns to Court Sunday

Florida basketball is set to return to the court on Sunday, October 18th, for an exhibition game against Baylor. The Gators, who have been chosen as the preseason favorite to win the SEC, will play their first exhibition contest since 2021. This marks their initial game against a Division I opponent since 2017.

Baylor, with brothers Dylan and Kayden Mingo expected to lead, finished last season with a 17-17 record. Meanwhile, Florida boasts a strong returning roster, with over 80% of their production back from a team that secured a No. 1 overall seed and won the SEC regular season title. Key players like Thomas Haugh, Rueben Chinyelu, and Alex Condon are returning.

The exhibition game will tip off at 2 p.m. ET in Jacksonville at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. Fans can watch the game on SEC Network+, WTEV in Jacksonville, and WFTV in Orlando, with streaming options available on ESPN+ and FUBO.
