Flavor Flav's Vegas Party for US Women's Hockey

Rap icon Flavor Flav has stepped up to host a celebration for the U.S. Women's Hockey team in Las Vegas. This offer follows an invitation extended to the team for a White House visit, which they declined. The women's team cited prior academic and professional commitments as the reason for their inability to attend.

Flavor Flav, whose real name is William Jonathan Drayton Jr., publicly extended his invitation on social media, promising dinners and shows in Sin City. He has a history of supporting women's sports and athletes, including assisting a discus thrower financially during the Paris Olympics.

The U.S. Women's Hockey team recently achieved their third gold medal, triumphing over Canada in an overtime match. This accomplishment is significant, as it marks the third gold for the women's team during the same period the men's team secured one gold medal.
