Fitzpatrick Jr. began the final round trailing defending champion Eugenio Chacarra by four shots, a deficit that extended to six after five holes. However, a remarkable turnaround ensued as Fitzpatrick carded eight birdies in a span of 12 holes, ultimately taking the lead on the 15th. Chacarra's final round faltered with a series of bogeys, allowing Fitzpatrick to build a comfortable lead heading into the final hole, despite a double bogey on the 18th.
The tournament concluded with Fitzpatrick on nine under par, finishing ahead of Chacarra, who secured outright second place. The next DP World Tour event is scheduled for April 23, while the Masters, the season's opening major, will take place on April 9.
