Youngsters Get Chance as Fiorentina Faces Dynamo Kyiv
11 Dec, 2025
Summary
- Fiorentina fields new faces in midfield and defense.
- Dynamo Kyiv selects Tymchyk over in-form Karaev at right back.
- Low ticket sales suggest a sparse crowd at the Franchi.
Paolo Vanoli has made significant changes to the Fiorentina squad, giving opportunities to players such as Mattia Viti, Cher Ndour, and Amir Richardson in the midfield and defense. Edin Džeko is set to lead the attack, while Tommaso Martinelli remains an unused substitute. This strategic reshuffling aims to evaluate new talent within the team.
Dynamo Kyiv’s coach, Igor Kostyuk, has also implemented a notable alteration, positioning Oleksandr Tymchyk at right-back, bypassing the currently in-form Oleksandr Karaev. These lineup adjustments suggest a tactical approach from both managers as they prepare for the encounter.
The match is anticipated to be played in front of a sparse crowd, with an estimated 7,000 tickets sold. This low attendance is expected to contribute to a less vibrant atmosphere at the Franchi stadium, making it feel unusually quiet.
