Points on the Line: Fiorentina Hosts Como
18 Oct
Summary
- Fiorentina seeks crucial points after recent draws.
- Como arrives winless in their last three matches.
- Both teams field strong starting lineups for the clash.
Fiorentina will host Como at the Franchi stadium in a match where both teams are desperately seeking points. The Viola, who started with a victory in their manager's debut, have since faltered, collecting only a single point from their recent encounters against Napoli and Genoa.
This has left Fiorentina precariously positioned third from the bottom in the league standings. Como, on the other hand, has experienced a slump, failing to secure a win in their last three matches across both the Champions League and Serie A.
Their recent results have caused them to lose ground on the leading teams in the league. With significant stakes involved, both clubs are poised for a critical confrontation in Florence. The official starting lineups for both Fiorentina and Como have been released.
