Falcons Player's Violent Past: 7 Calls Before Arrest

Seven 911 calls were placed reporting concerning behavior by Atlanta Falcons linebacker James Pearce Jr. before his February 7 arrest. The calls, made between November and February, occurred at the Florida residence of WNBA player Rickea Jackson.
Pearce now faces five felony charges, including aggravated battery and aggravated stalking. He also faces misdemeanor resisting arrest and multiple traffic citations following a car chase. Pearce allegedly struck an officer with his vehicle while evading arrest and pursuing Jackson.
The incident concluded when Pearce collided with Jackson's car near the Doral Police Department. Police had previously warned Pearce to stay away from Jackson's home on January 13.
Jackson and the Falcons have not commented on the events. Jackson's attorneys have stated she is willing to testify against Pearce in a potential domestic violence trial.
