The Atlanta Falcons have interviewed Drew Terrell for their offensive coordinator position. The interview took place on Tuesday, according to reports. Terrell currently serves as the passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach for the Arizona Cardinals.
This marks another significant step in Terrell's coaching career, as he also interviewed for the Los Angeles Chargers' offensive coordinator role on Monday. Prior to his time with the Cardinals, he spent three seasons (2020-2022) with the Washington Commanders. He began as an assistant receivers coach before being promoted to receivers coach.
Earlier in his career, the 34-year-old coach worked with the Carolina Panthers from 2018 to 2019 as an offensive quality control coach, also under head coach Ron Rivera. His interview with the Falcons comes after the Commanders promoted David Blough to offensive coordinator, a role Terrell may have been considered for.
