With the 2025 fantasy football season just days away, managers are preparing for their upcoming drafts. Those fortunate enough to have the first overall pick this year will be debating whether to select Falcons running back Bijan Robinson or Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase.

Robinson has been one of the top fantasy performers at his position over the past two seasons. He finished as the overall RB9 and RB4 in his first two years in the NFL and is poised to potentially finish as the highest-scoring player in 2025. The Falcons superstar took a significant step forward last season, recording 1,887 scrimmage yards and 15 total touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Chase made history in 2024 when he became just the sixth player ever to win the receiving triple crown. The Bengals star finished as the overall WR1 with 127 receptions for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns. He has proven to be a dominant force, consistently finishing as a top-13 wide receiver in each of his four NFL seasons.

However, in full-PPR formats, Chase becomes the preferred pick, while Robinson is the clear choice in non-PPR leagues. Both players are undoubtedly among the best overall options this year, but managers with the first overall pick can only select one.
