- Arsenal seeks replacement as White has lost starting position.
Everton has emerged as the frontrunner to sign Arsenal defender Ben White before the summer transfer window officially opens. Reports suggest that while other clubs have made inquiries, the Toffees are currently in the strongest position.
Manager David Moyes is keen to bolster his squad's defensive options, and White's versatility makes him an attractive prospect. The 28-year-old England international can operate as a right-back, centre-back, or defensive midfielder, offering valuable depth.
Arsenal is reportedly already exploring potential replacements for White, with links to Tino Livramento and Alex Jiminez. White's own place in Arsenal's starting lineup has become less secure over the past few seasons, potentially encouraging a move.
A transfer to Everton could appeal to White, with the club's chances of European qualification potentially influencing his decision.
