Borthwick Reveals Janse van Rensburg's England Role

England head coach Steve Borthwick addressed the media following a disappointing Six Nations campaign. He provided insights into his decisions, notably the inclusion of Benhard Janse van Rensburg in a recent three-day training camp. Borthwick elaborated on the South African-born centre's expected impact. The coach also outlined plans for a demanding summer schedule that will see England compete on three different continents. Discussions included the possibility of resting key players, such as captain Maro Itoje, to manage workload during this extensive period. Furthermore, Borthwick commented on the ongoing RFU review into the team's performance, which resulted in a fifth-place finish in the Six Nations tournament. The selections and upcoming strategies suggest a significant recalibration for the squad.
