England is facing a potential Ashes series loss in Australia, with intense pressure mounting on the team and its leadership. The team's performance has led to widespread calls for reform, with former international Steve Harmison being particularly vocal.
Harmison has targeted head coach Brendan McCullum, suggesting the New Zealander's tenure should end. He argues McCullum has imposed his aggressive batting philosophy too rigidly on the English side, leading to questionable decision-making.
McCullum's own playing record in Australia, where he averaged significantly lower than his career average, has been cited as evidence against his approach. The criticism highlights a deep dissatisfaction with England's Ashes campaign.
