10 Feb
Summary
- Endrick's agent confirms his return to Real Madrid this summer.
- The young forward impressed with five goals in six appearances for Lyon.
- Endrick previously played for Real Madrid in the 2024-25 campaign.
Endrick's agent, Tiago Freitas, has definitively stated that the Brazilian forward will return to Real Madrid this summer, concluding his loan spell at Lyon. The 19-year-old has made a significant impact since joining Lyon in December, netting five goals in just six appearances.
Freitas clarified that Endrick's return to the Spanish club is a done deal. The young player had sought advice from Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti before his loan move. Despite scoring in his early appearances for Real Madrid, Endrick saw limited minutes during the 2024-25 campaign, a situation Freitas attributes to the club's star-studded roster and Endrick's lack of preseason and injuries.
When questioned about Endrick's future playing time at Real Madrid, his agent expressed that he cannot predict the future, emphasizing Endrick's focus on immediate performance. Endrick is reportedly aiming to be included in Brazil's World Cup squad this summer.
