Kane's Record-Breaking Swim Secures State Berth

Emily Kane, a junior swimmer from Milford, has demonstrated exceptional talent this season. She recently set a new Section III record in the 200 Individual Medley, posting an impressive time of 2:17.42 at the State Qualifier. Earlier, she had also won the Section III B/C title in the same event.
Her dominance extended to the 100 breaststroke, where Kane secured the B/C title with a time of 1:09.08. Although she placed third in this event at the State Qualifier, her performances have been consistently strong throughout the season.
These outstanding results have earned Kane a spot in the NYSPHSAA Swim Championships for the third time in her varsity career. She competed in the 200 Individual Medley, finishing 36th overall.
