Sirianni's Seat Hot: Eagles Coach Defies Firing Odds

Head Coach Nick Sirianni stated he has "complete support" from Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie, even as the team grapples with a demoralizing six-game losing streak, bringing their record to 2-4. Sirianni acknowledged the difficulty of the current situation but emphasized the crucial backing he receives from the top, aiming to provide similar steadiness to his team. Despite being considered a prime candidate for firing by betting odds, Sirianni's situation is distinct from past coaching changes, and he feels Lurie's consistent support. The coach recalled past "high highs and low lows" with Lurie, underscoring the owner's reliable endorsement throughout his tenure. Sirianni noted that players are consistently coming to work ready to improve, demonstrating hunger to turn the season around despite the recent string of losses.
