EA Sports FC 26 will release 'The World's Game' update on May 28, enhancing the gaming experience with new international football features. Starting June 4, players can lead a nation in a new 48-team tournament mode. This update boasts 53 fully licensed national teams, with 41 of them actively competing in the real-world World Cup.
Two new stadiums, Gillette Stadium and BMO Field, are introduced, alongside Central Maw, designed to capture the atmosphere of international football. While EA Sports does not hold the official FIFA World Cup license, the update brings authentic representation for many nations.
Ultimate Team players can look forward to a dedicated Event Hub and 'Festival of Football' themed campaigns. Between June 5 and July 24, logging into FC 26 grants players a 93 OVR Festival of Football ICON Pelé and exclusive 'Choose Your Journey' Evolutions. The event will also introduce over 100 new international players and two new ICONS, Rivellino and Mario Kempes.
