Pavel Dorofeyev's Heroics Secure Vegas Series Lead

Pavel Dorofeyev was the decisive force as the Vegas Golden Knights secured a pivotal 3-2 win against the Anaheim Ducks, taking a 3-2 series lead. Dorofeyev netted two goals, including the overtime winner, showcasing his elite scoring ability. His performance was particularly remarkable as he returned to the ice after blocking a hard slap shot off his knee.

The 25-year-old winger has been a consistent offensive threat for Vegas, leading the team in regular-season goals and continuing that production into the playoffs. Despite an earlier struggle to translate regular-season success to the postseason, recent games have demonstrated his growing impact and all-around game.

Dorofeyev's clutch goals and resilience in Game 5 underscore his importance to the Golden Knights' playoff aspirations. His current performance trajectory, coupled with his upcoming restricted free agency, signals a significant potential raise from his current $1.835 million salary.
