Barça Secures Future Goalkeeper: Livakovic Deal Done

FC Barcelona is set to secure the signing of goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic from Fenerbahçe, with the transfer operation reportedly in its final stages. An agreement has been reached for the 31-year-old Croatian, with the deal valued at approximately €4 million. This includes a fixed fee of €2 million, plus an additional €2 million in add-ons.

Livakovic is expected to officially become a Barcelona player in 2027. However, the immediate plan is for him to be loaned out for the upcoming season. This arrangement will allow him to continue gaining regular playing time before joining the Barcelona squad next summer. The transfer is being facilitated by agent Andy Bara, who has a strong existing relationship with Barcelona's sporting department. Both Deco and Joan Laporta reportedly value Bara's ability to navigate complex negotiations.
