The Dodgers have acquired pitcher Seth Halvorsen from the Rockies in a trade for prospect Landyn Vidourek and pitcher Nick Frasso. Halvorsen, who is 26 years old, has been sidelined since July 4th with right shoulder inflammation.
He recently started a rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque. Halvorsen possesses one of baseball's hardest fastballs but has battled control issues, walking 38 batters in 71 innings over parts of three seasons.
Vidourek, 22, was a third-round draft pick in 2025. Frasso, 27, has spent five seasons in the minors, posting a 3.90 ERA. He joined the Dodgers in a 2022 trade.
