DePaul Prep Rams: A Championship Contender's Rise

DePaul Prep's girls' basketball team is building momentum for a state championship push, spearheaded by senior leaders Grace Lee and Kaitlin Totaro. Lee, a gifted post scorer and playmaker committed to Boston University, and Totaro, an exceptional shot-blocker for Loyola Marymount, are instrumental to the team's success. Their leadership, coupled with the contributions of sharp shooter Ava Giordano and sophomore driver Ramiyah Puckett, creates a well-rounded squad.

Under the guidance of second-year coach Corey Morgan, DePaul Prep has cultivated an energetic atmosphere and a strong team dynamic. The Rams have already amassed an impressive record, including victories over Trinity, Bolingbrook, Montini, and St. Ignatius. This season marks a significant opportunity for the team to return to the level of contention seen in Lee's freshman year.

The team's cohesion is evident, with players able to communicate honestly and constructively. The nine seniors, having witnessed the boys' team win three state championships, are leading by example, understanding the high expectations and driving the team's pursuit of their own state title.
