Avdija's near triple-double marred by turnover woes

Deni Avdija delivered a near triple-double performance, notching 22 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists in Friday's game. He also contributed two steals and a single three-pointer. Despite his strong offensive output and enhanced playmaking responsibilities due to Ja Morant's hamstring injury, Avdija struggled significantly with ball security, committing a season-high eight turnovers. This marked a stark contrast to his previous games, where he had not exceeded three turnovers. In the last four contests, Avdija has distributed 30 assists, highlighting his expanded role in facilitating the offense for the Trail Blazers while Morant is sidelined.
