Teenage cricketer Deeya Yadav has registered her second career double century in limited-overs cricket. The 16-year-old Haryana batter achieved this feat by scoring 206 runs off 147 deliveries against Tripura in a recent Under-23 One-Day Trophy match held in Puducherry. Her explosive innings was studded with 22 boundaries and seven sixes.
Yadav's exceptional batting performance also includes an impressive 181-run opening partnership with Tanishka Sharma, who contributed 79 runs. This is not Yadav's first double ton; she previously scored 213 off 125 balls in an Under-15 game against Tripura in November 2023.
Following her strong domestic showings, the top-order batter was acquired by the Delhi Capitals for INR 10 lakh at the WPL 2026 auction. She also became the youngest player to participate in a WPL game earlier this year.
The young cricketer's recent achievement places her among notable Indian batters like Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues, both of whom have scored double centuries in domestic limited-overs cricket. She now holds the record for the second-highest individual score at the U23 level.
