Dagenham & Redbridge Under New Ownership

Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club is now under the ownership of Happy Fan Group Ltd., an investment consortium. This significant change concludes the two-year tenure of Club Underdog, which coincided with the team's relegation to the sixth tier last season.

United States-based businessman John Grabowski, representing Happy Fan Group, expressed humility and privilege in taking responsibility, acknowledging the challenges faced by the club's fanbase. He emphasized an immediate focus on establishing a robust and professional foundation for the club's future.

The takeover also signifies the return of former player Anwar Uddin to a directorial role as non-executive chairman. Uddin, who had a distinguished playing career with the Daggers from 2004 to 2010, is remembered for leading the team to promotion to League One.
