Summary
- Rangers made an offer for Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi
- The offer was rejected by Palace, but Rangers' pursuit remains ongoing
- Rak-Sakyi has been unsettled at Palace after a disappointing season in 2023-24

Scottish Premiership club Rangers have made an offer to sign Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi. The approach was for an initial loan with a potential obligation to buy worth up to £10 million, but the offer was rejected by Palace.
Despite the rejection, Rangers' pursuit of the 22-year-old remains ongoing, and there is interest from elsewhere in the young winger. Rak-Sakyi came through the youth ranks at Chelsea before moving to Palace in 2019 and signing a first professional deal with the club in 2021.
Rak-Sakyi has been unsettled at Palace after a disappointing season in 2023-24, where he was not loaned out and overlooked for selection, as well as suffering from injury problems. The winger had previously been wanted by Southampton when Russell Martin was manager there, but a loan with an option to buy fell well below Palace's asking price.
With two years left on his contract, there is no immediate rush for Palace to make a decision on whether to sell Rak-Sakyi, but they will need to persuade him to sign fresh terms if they want to achieve maximum value in the future.
