Cowboys Star CeeDee Lamb Vows Dominant Season After Missed 2024 Camp

As the 2025 NFL season approaches, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is determined to put his challenging 2024 campaign behind him. Last year, Lamb missed the team's training camp in Oxnard, California due to a prolonged contract negotiation, and it showed in his early-season performance.

Despite being in peak physical shape, Lamb struggled to get on the same page with quarterback Dak Prescott, particularly in a Week 7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. "That's when I was like, 'Wow, everything that I was doing [to stay in shape] was really just for me,'" Lamb reflected.

Now fully healthy and with a fresh perspective, the Pro Bowl receiver is embracing his role as a veteran leader. During the first two weeks of 2025 training camp, Lamb has been actively mentoring younger teammates like undrafted rookie Traeshon Holden, sharing tips and techniques to help them succeed.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has noticed Lamb's growth, saying, "Every step of the way he's done what the great ones do, and he's just evolved and gotten better and better." With the addition of talented receiver George Pickens, Lamb is poised to have a dominant 2025 season and lead the Cowboys' high-powered offense.

"I feel like the league knows what happens when I'm healthy and I have Dak for a whole season," Lamb said. "But if you don't, I will happily show you what it's going to be like this year. Honestly, I'm a dominant receiver. I don't like to speak highly of myself, but I can't wait to show you guys."
