Summary
- Cowboys sign RB Jashaun Corbin to practice squad.
- Dallas struggles with rushing consistency in 2026 season.
- Corbin previously spent time with Cowboys in training camp.
The Dallas Cowboys are bringing back running back Jashaun Corbin to their practice squad. This move comes as the team has struggled with rushing consistency during the 2026 season, averaging the eighth-fewest rushing yards per game.
Corbin spent time with the Cowboys during training camp and appeared in the preseason finale. The team is bolstering its depth after parting ways with Emari Demercado, and with Tyler Goodson as the only other notable option, Corbin provides insurance.
Corbin also had a stint with the Atlanta Falcons during the 2025 preseason. Previously, he played college football at Texas A&M and Florida State before going undrafted in 2022. He spent time with the New York Giants in 2023, primarily on special teams.
This signing occurs ahead of Week 9's matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, as the Cowboys aim to solidify their backfield situation.
