14 Oct
Summary
- Deebo Samuel active despite heel injury
- Commanders missing WRs Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown
- Bears kicker Cairo Santos also ruled out

As of October 14th, 2025, the Washington Commanders will be shorthanded at the wide receiver position for their upcoming game. The team has already ruled out their top two receivers, Terry McLaurin and Noah Brown, due to a quad injury and a knee issue, respectively.
Despite these absences, the Commanders will have the services of Deebo Samuel, who is active after being listed as questionable with a heel injury. Samuel has been a key contributor for the Commanders this season, recording 30 catches for 300 yards and three touchdowns in five games.
The Bears will also be missing a key player, as they have ruled out kicker Cairo Santos due to a right thigh injury. Jake Moody will handle the kicking duties for the Bears in Santos' absence.
